How credits work
Credits pay for study sets made from your own lecture PDFs and slides. The question bank, topic notes, and clinical skills guides use no credits.
- Every new account gets 50 free credits for its own lectures.
- Each generation shows its exact credit cost before you start, based on the pages and format you pick.
- Credits are charged only after your output is saved. A failed generation costs nothing.
- Recall Core's 100 credits make up to 100 SBA questions or flashcards from 500 lecture pages.
- A plan refills its credits every 30 days on monthly and yearly. Unused plan credits expire at the next refill.
- Top-up credits never expire and are used after plan credits.

How does the free trial work?
The whole library is open for 7 days with no card. Then you keep 5 new questions a day and everything you've answered.
Does a plan renew automatically?
No. One payment covers 30 days on monthly or 365 days on yearly and nothing renews by itself.
Is yearly cheaper?
Yes if you study most of the year. Yearly saves up to 40% against 12 monthly payments.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes. Top up 75, 200, or 500 extra credits from Plan and credits. They never expire and are used after plan credits.
Do library questions use credits?
No. The question bank, notes, and clinical guides use no credits. Credits are only for sets made from your own lectures.
When are credits charged?
Only after your output is saved. If a generation fails, your balance stays exactly where it was.
Can I get a refund?
Failed generations cost nothing. Bought a plan you have not used yet? Email support@recallengine.app within 48 hours and we will review it.
