Question bank
How does the free trial work?
The whole library is open for 7 days with no card. Then you keep 5 new questions a day and everything you've answered.
Do library questions use credits?
No. The question bank, notes, and clinical guides use no credits. Credits are only for sets made from your own lectures.
Does a plan renew automatically?
No. One payment covers 30 days on monthly or 365 days on yearly and nothing renews by itself.
Is yearly cheaper?
Yes if you study most of the year. Yearly saves up to 40% against 12 monthly payments.
Which years does the question bank cover?
All five years from the preclinical sciences to clinical specialties. Inside the app you can filter by your own year. New topics arrive every week.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your own lectures, generated sets, and progress stay. The library returns to the free daily allowance until you renew.
Using Recall Engine
What does Recall Engine do?
Upload a lecture PDF or PowerPoint, pick the pages, and get SBAs, MCQs, flashcards, or notes from them.
Who is Recall Engine for?
Medical students who want to practise their own lecture material in the question formats their exams use.
Does this work for USMLE, PLAB, or my finals?
Questions are written at finals level in the clinical vignette style of MRCP and USMLE papers. They rehearse your syllabus rather than a board bank.
What is a Weakness Pack?
It turns the questions you missed in your own lectures into a focused set. Weakness Packs come with Recall Plus and Recall Max.
Can I trust the answers?
Lecture answers name their page to check against your slides. Library questions explain every option. You can report any you doubt.
Your files
Can I upload a full lecture PDF?
Yes. Upload a PDF or PowerPoint up to 100 MB. Scanned PDFs work and PowerPoint slides need readable text.
Is there any difference between uploading a PDF and a PowerPoint?
PDFs are read as images and text. Their page references open the original slide. PowerPoints are read as slide text only.
Does it work on slides that are mostly diagrams or images?
Yes. For PDFs it reads diagrams, photos, charts, tables, scanned pages, and clear handwriting. Export image-heavy PowerPoints to PDF first.
What happens with long PDFs?
Recall Engine reads long lectures in 20-page parts and combines them into one study set.
Credits and payments
Can I start for free?
Yes. Every account starts with 50 free credits, enough for up to 60 SBA questions with no card needed.
How do credits work?
Each generation shows its exact credit cost before you start, based on the pages and format you pick.
When are credits charged?
Only after your output is saved. If a generation fails, your balance stays exactly where it was.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes. Top up 75, 200, or 500 extra credits from Plan and credits. They never expire and are used after plan credits.
Can I get a refund?
Failed generations cost nothing. Bought a plan you have not used yet? Email support@recallengine.app within 48 hours and we will review it.
