Privacy

You sign in with an email and password or with Google. With Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address, and profile picture. We also keep your plan, your credit balance, and the academic details you choose to add, such as your year and college. Recall Engine is for people 18 and older.

We use your Google details only to run your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account settings.

Your uploaded lectures and their page text are stored on your account. That lets every study set link back to its source pages. To make a set, the lecture's pages are sent to our AI providers for processing. Only you can see your lectures and study sets.

We save your answers, mistakes, flashcard ratings, study plan, and progress to power Weakness Packs, revision, and your progress pages. We also count what you open in the library each day to apply the free plan and fair use. Only you can see your study activity.

PDFs downloaded during the trial carry your name and a hidden download code. A shared copy can then be traced to its account.

Our payment providers handle checkout. We never store full card details. We keep what you bought, the amount, its status, and the payment reference to deliver it and to answer billing questions.

We email you about your account and your payments. Reminders and product news always include an unsubscribe link.

Cookies keep you signed in and remember settings such as your theme. Our analytics providers count page visits so we can improve the site; they never see sign-in pages or the IDs in private page addresses. When something breaks, a technical error report goes to our error-monitoring provider. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Our database is designed so each account can open only its own lectures, study sets, payments, and question history.

Recall Engine is operated from Cairo, Egypt. Your account, lectures, and study sets are stored with our hosting and database providers. Their servers may be outside Egypt.

A deleted study set or lecture leaves your account at once. We keep a private copy of deleted study sets so we can look into problems. To have that copy removed for good, email support@recallengine.app.

You can delete your account at any time from Danger zone in Settings. It is immediate and permanent. Your lectures, files, study sets, practice history, and credits are removed. Any time left on a plan ends. Nothing is refunded.

To ask what we store or for help with a deletion you cannot complete yourself, email support@recallengine.app from your account email. We answer within 14 days.
